We aim to equip offenders to tackle the critical barriers they face in finding and sustaining employment.
Skills for Life
The Skills for Life Programme caters for all levels of ability, we work closely with our partners to deliver a vast range of courses. These range from GCSE and NVQ qualifications to special courses for offenders who are dyslexic or those for whom English is not their first language.
There are also specialist courses such as Maintaining your Tenancy, an eight-week programme for offenders with housing needs, which includes money management and independent living skills.
A employment advice is also runs weekly at various sites across the county and includes tuition on how to search for a job, CV writing and goal setting.
