Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Probation Trust

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Probation Trust was established on 1st April 2010 replacing the Cambridgeshire Probation Board. It is one of thirty five such trusts providing probation services across England and Wales.

The focus of Trusts will be on the achievement of significantly improved outcomes (public protection and reducing re-offending) through innovation, flexibility and attention to locally identified needs.

Probation Trusts will be commissioned to deliver offender management services under locally agreed contracts. As lead providers, Trusts will work with a range of providers from both the private and public sector to deliver effective services that provide real value for money.

Our aims are to:

  • protect the public from harm
  • reduce re-offending
  • ensure the proper punishment and rehabilitation of offenders
  • make offenders aware of the effects of crime.

On this site you can find out more about how we work with offenders, courts and victims. There are also areas where you can find out about careers within the service and information about how to contact us.
